I lived in Davis,
California 1978-82. While attending UCD, I enjoyed the eclectic campus radio station, KDVS,
saw
amazing rock shows at the UCDavis Coffee House (Talking Heads, Iggy Pop,
Devo) and occasionally photographed the
local music scene.
Recent reconnections with friends and acquaintances from that scene
inspired this site - as a resource both for the curious and for
folks who were there. True West has reunited for some gigs; a lot of folks from the 80s Davis music scene are on MySpace and
YouTube; most of the prime musical movers continue to play and
record. It seems like there's a place for a site with this focus.

videos from the early 80's Davis music scene I'd love to hear from
you.
